We’ve all heard the alarming statistics about the rising prevalence of autism, and the Dan Marino Foundation is launching a new event to help. The first annual WalkAbout Autism will begin at 10:00 on Saturday morning, 1/29/11, at Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens, with the goal of raising $500,000. Charities benefiting from the event include the University of Miami/Nova Southeastern University Center for Autism and Related Disabilities, the FAU Center for Autism and Related Disabilities, the Autism Society of Broward County, and the Autism Society of Miami-Dade.
